== Events == * July 27 - The National Convention votes to arrest five deputies, including Maximilien Robespierre, his brother Augustin, Georges Couthon, Louis Antoine de Saint-Just, Philippe-François-Joseph Le Bas, as well as François Hanriot, and other Robespierrist officials, in response to a complaint by Jean-Lambert Tallien, who complained that Robespierre and Saint-Just broke with the Committees and that they now spoke only for themselves. * July 28 - Maximilien Robespierre attempts to kill himself with a pistol, however, this only resulted in a broken jaw. He is arrested by 2:30 am alongside the other deputies, and brought before the Revolutionary Tribunal, where he was condemned to die by Guillotine. He was executed alongside his brother at Place de la Révolution, bringing an end to the Reign of Terror. * September 1 - Indigenous Australian Genocide: after a pair of settlers were attacked and robbed by aboriginal warriors, they massacred eight of their people a few days later, at Hawksbury. * Unknown - The Chickamauga Wars end.
