* December 29 - The [[1975 LaGuardia Airport bombing]] occurs when a bomb detonates near the TWA baggage reclaim terminal at LaGuardia Airport, New York City, killing 11 people and seriously injuring 74 others. The perpetrators were never identified, although investigators and historians believe that Croatian nationalists were the most likely.
