Abdullah Ahmed Abdullah (June 6, 1963 - October 14, 2020) was a senior member of al-Qaeda and one of the masterminds behind the 1998 US Embassy bombings. The FBI has wanted Abdullah.
Terrorism history
Abdullah helped high-ranking al-Qaeda member Saif al-Adel by providing intelligence and military training to those associated with al-Qaeda in Somalia and Sudan in 1992. Abdullah allegedly operated al-Qaeda training camps in 1996 through 1998 in Afghanistan. Abdullah was also responsible for forging a passport for former al-Qaeda member Mohammed Odeh so he could get to Afghanistan and meet with Osama Bin Laden before the 1998 United States embassy bombings.

Sometime later, Abdullah was placed under arrest in Iran. Former al-Qaeda spokesman Sulaiman Abu Ghaith Confirmed that Abdullah was arrested and placed under house arrest in Iran.
