Akhtar Mohammad Mansour (1968 – 21 May 2016) was the leader of the Taliban, an Islamic fundamentalist political movement in Afghanistan, from July 29 2015 to May 21 2016, when Mansour was killed in a drone strike by the United States in Pakistan.
