Alek Minassian: Difference between revisions

On April 23, he rented a Ryder truck and drove to Finch Avenue where he drove down the sidewalk and began hitting people, during the attack he re-entered on to the roadway and a witness said that Alek looked at his victims in the eye before killing them. His attack stopped at Mel Lastman Square where he was arrested. After his arrest, he attempted suicide by cop, demanding the officer shoot him in the head while holding an object which he attempted to pass off as a gun. The officer recognized it wasn't, and subdued him with his baton.
