American Identity Movement (formerly known as Identity Evropa until March 2019) is an Alt-Right organization that was formed on March 18, 2016 by Nathan Damigo. Even though the requirements of the group were to be of European and non-Semitic heritage, have no tattoos, and no criminal record, Nathan Damigo, ironically, has tattoos and was convicted of armed robbery in 2007. They were one of the Alt-Right organizations that took part in the Unite the Right rally on August 11-12, 2017. Peter Cvjetanovic, one of the members, infamously made an angry face while holding a tiki torch in the rally. Shortly after renaming themselves to "American Identity Movement", Patrick Casey and about ten other members of the group broke into a library during an event and shouted "This land is our land" for a few minutes before being asked to leave.
