[[File:Amy Locane.jpg|thumb|299x299px]] '''Amy Rose Locane''' (born December 19, 1971 in Trenton, New Jersey) is an actress turned villainess who committed vehicular manslaughter in 2010. As an actress, Amy Locane played Sandy Louise Harling for 11 episodes on ''Melrose Place'', and she is best known for co-starring with Johnny Depp in the 1990 film, ''Cry-Baby. ''She also appeared in a pair of Brendan Fraser films, ''School Ties'' and ''Airheads'' (the latter also starring Adam Sandler and Steve Buscemi), playing Fraser's love interest in both films. On June 27, 2010, Locane crashed her car into another vehicle driven by Fred Seeman, with the crash taking place in Montgomery, New Jersey. She drove 53 MPH in a 35 mile zone, while Seeman drove only three miles, and Locane sped up and crashed the vehicle, killing Seeman's wife. It was reported that Locane's blood-alcohol limit was three times the legal limit, and she was indicted for vehicular manslaughter in December of 2010. Locane was convicted of vehicular homicide on November 27, 2012, and in February 2013, she received a three year prison sentence. However, after it was ruled that the three year sentence was too lenient, Locane was resentenced to five years in February 2019.
