'''Angela Phakhin''' is the villainess behind the tortuous murder of her three-year-old daughter in 2017.
==Biography==
Angela was engaged to [[Untwan Smith]], and some time in 2014, she gave birth to the couple's daughter, Maiya. According to a statement from the Sacramento County DA's office, Angela and Untwan had exposed Maiya to extreme summer weather at one point, and it was on June 28, 2017 that Angela intentionally left Maiya inside her and her fiancee's car in extremely hot weather, resulting in Maiya's death.

The couple was arrested (after Untwan was revealed--in addition--to have an outstanding warrant in Arkansas), and regarding Angela's motive, she claimed that she left Maiya in the hot car to "remove the lustful demons from her." Angela was convicted of first degree murder in June 2019, and on July 22<sup>nd</sup>, 2019, Angela was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.
