The video went viral the next day, receiving over 1.6 million views by October 13, with news websites from around the world linking to it.

After repeatedly being asked for over a year to bare her breasts, Todd did so on a webcam stream, and the a stranger (presumably Coban) saved frames using screen capturing, later threatening to send the topless photo to her friends unless she met his demands. Investigators reviewed content at social media sites and actively monitoring pages.
