Video of the orgy later ended up online and Miami-Dade's sex crimes unit got involved.<ref name=mherald/> The 13-year-old told police "Everyone pretty much had sex with everyone".<ref name=mirror/> The trio were arrested in December 2014.<ref name=cbs/> All three were charged with lewd and lascivious battery on a child with Byndloss and Hernandez further accused of possession of sexual performance by a child and promoting sexual performance of a child.<ref name=cbs/>

On December 1^st, 2016 Byndloss admitted reduced charges in a plea bargain that allowed her to walk free with a $754 fine and ten years of probation, with Hernandez and Yanes having previously struck similar deals also resulting in ten years of probation.<ref name=mirror/>
