Brooke Houts (November 24, 1998-) is an American YouTuber who was caught abusing her dog in a video where she tries to prank him with saran wrap.
In the video posted on August 6, Brooke hits her dog named Sphinx in the face, then she holds him down and yells "STOP!" before spitting on him, towards the end of the video she shoves Sphinx and yells at her which causes Sphinx to start crying.
Following backlash, Brooke sent out a tweet apologizing for her action but it was made clear that in some parts of the apology she was lying and even denied spitting on her dog. The apology also came out at bad time since many people didn't believe her apology and the LAPD was investigating the incident.[1]
