Chaotic Neutral villains are those who put total freedom before anything else in their plans, but also mainly before a lawful and orderly society. They don't care so much for evil as much as they don't care about good either, instead focusing on doing what they feel like and will go every which way to achieve their goals, regardless if it helps or hurts others. They can even be [[:Category:Anti - Villain|anti-villains]] as they might have noble intentions that perfectly balance out their heinousness or have [[Even Evil Has Standards|lines that they aren't willing to cross]]. Its more heinous counterpart is [[:Category:Chaotic Evil|Chaotic Evil]].

The more morally ambiguous than outright heinous [[:Category:Anarchist|anarchist]] or [[:Category:Tricksters|trickster]] may fit under this alignment.
