{{Quote|The superpowers often behave like two heavily armed blind men feeling their way around a room, each believing himself in mortal peril from the other, whom he assumes to have perfect vision. Each side should know that frequently uncertainty, compromise, and incoherence are the essence of policymaking. Yet each tends to ascribe to the other a consistency, foresight, and coherence that its own experience belies. Of course, over time, even two armed blind men can do enormous damage to each other, not to speak of the room.|[[Henry Kissinger]]}}
The Cold War was not technically a war but a period of time when capitalists were trying to engulf communism and vice versa. This page is a category villains/events of the Cold War. One trait of villains in this event is that they (especially Americans and Soviets) often try to threaten each other with advances in technology and weapons of mass destruction.
Any villains that played a role in the [[Cold War]] or any of its proxy conflicts from 1945 to 1991.
