Whilst some villains are evil they may also be involved with the law
Lawful Evil is the alignment associated with villains and organizations who abuse a well-organized system in order to commit villainy; they do not often engage in the kind of recklessness of [[:Category:Chaotic Evil|Chaotic Evil]] and often try to limit chaos that does not benefit their goals (which is often to enforce harsh laws or to gain power for themselves).
Villains who fall under Lawful Evil can engage in slavery, murder and worse; they simply do so in a more organized fashion than that of the Chaotic Evil.
Lawful Evil is often associated with tyrants, dictators, corrupt officials, and villains with extensive planning.
