Villains who display psychopathy are calculating, clever, emotionless and callous traits such as lack of empathy, shame, remorse, anxiety, sadness, joy, and love. The reason why psychopaths commit crimes is because they have no conscience. They are, however, aware of what they are doing, but they choose not to follow the social mores and/or the laws of the land
