Child abuse is defined as any act that willingly harms a child or harm caused due to neglect child abuse. It is often considered one of the most shameful crimes as it targets extremely vulnerable individuals and invokes anger in most cultures where children as seen as innocent on a biological level harming children is counter-productive to our instinct to protect our young, thus causes us to instinctively resist it. The most extreme cases of child abuse can lead to [[familicide]]. Most philosophies, religions and societies have condemned child abuse and placed measures to prevent it.
