==Aftermath== After Nickelodeon find out what Chris did to the female employees, he was fired from his job. On May 30, 2018, Savino was given a one-year suspension from The Animation Guild, I.A.T.S.E. Local 839. From there, he was ordered to pay a $4,000 fine, which would be set up as a charity from the guild, do 40 hours of community service, undergo counseling, and obtain a certificate of sexual harassment training for his allegations. His wife, Bethany Savino, eventually divorced him after he was fired from Nickelodeon. Since 2019, Savino has since expressed deep regret for his actions. He now works a writer and a comic book artist. He would later become a devout Christian. Recently, Chris Savino made many decent improvements in his life, beginning from 2018, including a permanent halt on his alcohol use. In September 2022, Chris Savino was featured as a guest with a female interviewee in a Q&A interview from a YouTube channel, ''Christian Car Rides.'' During the interview, Savino has admitted his deepened regret for his past actions and demonstrated himself to be a mature, friendly, and well-spoken individual. Savino has also revealed that despite the divorce, he has redeemed himself in terms of his familial relationship. He now strikes a much closer bond to his wife and his children as a result of his reformed well-being. He is allowed unlimited visits to his wife’s home and vice versa. Savino admitted on that interview that his family’s forgiveness is most important to him. Chris Savino, in the most part, redeemed himself and is a complete contrary to his past self. Chris Savino was VERY accepting on the basis of Nickelodeon’s decision of retiring him from their community, though he has stated that he was open on his rehiring if that day ever comes to be. He also attempted to reach out to his former friends and apologized for his actions, though to no avail, he wouldn’t receive a response from them. Savino accepts the magnitude of his crimes though he stuck to his word when he wanted to make everything right. This process is ongoing at the moment, but he has made great improvements for himself and his family.
