== Transgender debate == There has been a large debate around Chandler's gender identity. As Chandler's ideas about the world were influenced by the media he consumed, especially films and TV shows aimed at children, it is believed this is part of his misunderstanding of what it means to be either a man or a woman. When he identified as a male he based his personality on tough guy stereotypes seen in cartoons. His ideas about women also come from his consumption of media, which is evident in the Sonichu comics, as the female characters in those are depicted as stereotypes of women from cartoons. In one issue Sonichu had to accompany his girlfriend Rosechu to the mall where she goes on a shopping spree, in another she is kidnapped, becoming a damsel in distress and Sonichu has to save her. These are common stereotypes of women in cartoons. In another comic, a female character states stereotypes of boys from cartoons, such as never being sad and only liking gross things and being violent. Chandler also made the decision to transition because a troll suggested that he should become a transwoman to try and attract lesbians, which is unlike other trans people, who transition because they feel that they were born into the gender identity they ultimately express themselves as. Chandler also believes that the 3 names he's had throughout his life, Christopher, Christian and Christine are 3 different personalities he's had throughout his life, as well as being able to jump between them and have different ones possess his body at different times. Chandler has even gone as far as to say that he believes to be the reincarnation of a woman in the 1960s attending Woodstock, as well as thousands of years ago he was an important alien princess from a different galaxy exiled from her home planet, calling himself a female soul. This was based on a dream he had. Chandler has never shown any indication of dysphoria or gender questioning, typical things trans people have gone through. There was also how through a large part of 2020 Chandler claimed to be possessed by Sonichu rather than one of his female characters, having no trouble being male for a good chunk of the year. Furthermore, while he is currently in Jail, Chandler is claiming to be the reincarnation of Jesus Christ. Many people say that because Chandler identifies as a woman then his pronouns should be respected, however, others refute this due to how Chandler is generally agreed to be delusional and people should not accept someone's identity at face value. It is also worth mentioning that many members of the trans and LGBT Community don't want to be associated with Chandler, saying he makes them look bad, as well as the degrading comments he made about them when he identified as male. Since Chandler is said to have the mind of a child, people believe it was easier for him to try and become a woman, rather than accept he failed to become a man.
