Christopher Speight was the perpetrator of a 2010 massacre in Appomattox, VA, in which he murdered 8 people in their home and tried to shoot down a police chopper before being arrested. Dozens of military-grade guns and explosives were found in his home. In February of 2013, Speight was sentenced to life imprisonment.
