In | In 2011, Cobb relocated to North Dakota because of its supply of high paying jobs at oil fields and high portion of white residents. In August 2013 he moved to the very small of Leith where he purchased 13 plots of land for $500 each. He would then post an advertisement on Vanguard News Network announcing his plans to build a community based on white nationalist ideals and as he puts it "a community where you always find like minded residents."
