== Disputed status as religion == Because of its rejection of the supernatural and focus primarily on secular issues, a federal judge ruled that Creativity is not a religion. This was relevant because the Creativity Movement's Pontifex Maximus [[Matthew Hale|Matthew F. Hale]] had been sentenced to 40 years in ADX Florence, the United States' federal supermax prison, for soliciting the murder of a federal judge; because of Creativity not being a religion, Hale therefore was not entitled to continue in his capacity is its leader from behind bars.
