'''Damião Soares dos Santos''' (May 21th, 1967 - October 5th, 2017) was a Brazillian man who in October 5th, 2017, burned up a classroom of a kindergarten called "Centro Municipal de Educação Infantil Gente Inocente".

== Biography ==
Damião was born in May 21th, 1967, he was the youngest sibling of a family of four men and seven women.

In October 5th, 2014, Damião's father died, and according to one of his sisters, he started showing signs of mental illness.

== The Massacre ==
In October 5th, 2017, he entered a kindergaten called "Centro Municipal de Educação Infantil Gente Inocente", saying he was going to give a medical certificate.

After entering the school, he invaded a classroom of children around 3-7 years of age. He then locked the door and then throwed fuel at the children, employees and himself and setted everyone on fire.

He killed 13 people and himself.
