David Becker is a high school athlete from Massachusetts who raped two high school female classmates at a party in April 2016. The classmates had alleged that Becker raped and assaulted them while the were asleep and unconscious. He was only given two years probation for his crimes, a punishment that if completed, will dismiss all charges involving the rape.
Similarly to the cases of other individuals like Brock Turner and Jacob Walter Anderson, the verdict has been widely condemned by the public for being a rather lenient sentence for a rape conviction.
