Deandre "Dre" "Big Andre" Smith (died November 7, 2004) was a Southside Crip and drug dealer who was one of the accomplices of the murder of Tupac Shakur. Dre died on November 7, 2004, from a heart attack at an unknown age.
Tupac Shakur shooting
Dre is believed to be one of the accomplices of the Tupac Shakur murder. His friend, Keefe D, confessed that Dre, Orlando Anderson, and T-Brown were all responsible for Shakur's murder. Keefe also admitted that Marion "Suge" Knight was a target in the drive-by. Keefe admitted that he tried to hand Dre the gun, but Dre had refused. Though, Keefe has never confessed if Dre or Orlando shot Tupac.
Death
On November 7, 2004, Dre had a heart attack in his home. He died a little while later.
