Deandre "Dre" "Big Andre" Smith (died November 7, 2004) was a Southside Crip and drug dealer who was one of the accomplices of the murder of Tupac Shakur. Dre died on November 7, 2004, from a heart attack.
Tupac Shakur shooting[edit]
Dre is believed to be one of the accomplices of the Tupac Shakur murder. His friend, Keefe D, confessed that Dre, Orlando Anderson, and T-Brown were all responsible for Shakur's murder. Keefe also admitted that Marion "Suge" Knight was a target in the drive-by. Keefe admitted that he tried to hand Dre the gun, but Dre had refused. Though, Keefe has never confessed if Dre or Orlando shot Tupac.
Death[edit]
On November 7, 2004, Dre had a heart attack in his home. He died a little while later.
