John Dennis "Denny" Hastert (January 2, 1942) is the former Speaker Of The House [199-2007], Chief Deputy Whip for the Republican Party [1995-1999] Congressman for the 14th district of Illinois [1987-2007]. In 2015, he was convicted in 2015 of bank fraud, bribery, and the sexual abuse of up to 5 children.
