The Dnepropetrovsk Maniacs were a group of two teen murderers in Ukraine, consisting of Igor Suprunyuck and Viktor Sayenko. They have been charged with 21 murders and may have caused even more.
Their methods were some of the most evil known to man and have been compared to Vlad The Impaler. Most of their attacks were on those that would seem to be weaker targets. All the murders occured between June 2007-July 2007.
History
The group enjoyed taking pictures and recordings of all their murders and hoped to collect them for use in their old age - picking victims they felt would not fight back and doing so purely for "fun".
They also attended the funerals of many of their victims and flipped off the coffins while taking pictures of themselves, they often mocked their victims and laughed about their crimes. They killed 21 people, including a pregnant woman by cutting her foetus out of her stomach.
The teens bloodlust would prove their own downfall with the release of "3 Guys, 1 Hammer" - a vicious snuff film that showed them bludgeoning 48-year-old Sergei Yatzanko, to death in the woods before stabbing him repeatedly with a screwdriver.
This tape was leaked to the internet (some believe by the killers themselves) and was used to help convict them - true to their sociopathic natures, neither of the boys showed any remorse for their killings.
As well as human victims the teens also tortured and killed many animals, another classic sign of sociopathy.
Copycat Killers
Two Russian serial killers dubbed The Academy Maniacs killed six people and injured nine in Akademgorodok, Russia. They recorded one of the six murders.
