Titus Flavius Domitian was the 11th emperor of rome. He is best know for his persecution of christians, jews and the rich and noble. He was an adept archer and would frequently ask slaves to put his hands on the archery board, with his fingers outstrecthed, so that domitian could shoot the arrow between the fingers, which could mean extreme pain for the slave if he had missed the target. Although hated by the public, especially by aristocrats, he was popular among his soldiers. Domitian was killed by a freedman and a few praetorian guards who all stabbed him in the groin.
