Ethan Couch (born April 11, 1997) is an affluent teenager in Northern Texas who was sentenced to 10 years probation after stealing liquor, getting drunk, and killing 4 other teens and wounding 2 in a drunk driving accident. His light sentences was due to his attorney arguing that he had "affluenza", and didn't know right from wrong due to his sheltered privileged upbringing. He later served two years in prison for a probation violation.
