From what is known from the video and some background information sought, both were members of the Sinaloa cartel and dedicated themselves to murder and drug sales until they were caught by a rival cartel(possibly Los Zetas)

In the video they say that they got involved in selling drugs for money, although they admit in the end that they pay very little, about 30 dollars per month, they ask those who see it not to get into this business and to be honest, they are later killed by a rival cartel member
