== Legacy == According to the Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG), the Marcos family have looted ill-gotten wealth from the Philippines which even until now, has an undetermined amount, although it was estimated to be around $5-10 billion of the country's treasury. As of April 1986, the Guinness World Record considers the Marcos family to have the greatest ever robbery of a government. === Controversy === After his burial in Libingnan ng mga Bayani and declaring Araw ng Magnanakaw in Ilocos Norte, people might think he's the soldier or most decorated war veteran. His loyalists and loyal supporters were attempting to bring him to life as the eternal president of the Philippines and a hero despite his death in 1989, but they were trying to lash out and red-tagging critics and activists to whitewash the atrocities and falsely accuse them of being terrorists/communists and members of the New People's Army. These "bad" sites were GetRealPhilippines and "bad" fan pages on Facebook, VOVPH, Marcos Loyalists, etc. would attempt to rehabilitate and sanitize Marcoses and have reunification of the Philippines to regain control of what Aquinos "liberated it". They would attempt to make FEM ascend to godhood regardless of any religion much more like Kim Il-sung and Adolf Hitler combined. His loyalists want to make necrocracy for him to be the eternal president of the republic and need government support to revise the constitution if need be. His loyalists also want to return his legacy by electing his son, Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. as the next president of the Philippines in the upcoming 2022 elections. === Possible return to Power === All thanks to his supporters who later allied with the DDS (Die-Hard Duterte Supporters), they were currently supporting the potential leadership of his son Ferdinand " Bongbong " Marcos Jr. as the next President along with Sara Duterte as his Vice-President of the Republic of the Philippines, they will willing to bring back once the Philippines liberated by the Aquinos, deny all the Martial Law atrocities and revise all the country's history in honor to his father, the similar thing that Japanese government's denials of all of their War Crimes during WW2, the Neo-Nazis denial of the Holocaust and the Turkish government's denial of Armenian Genocide.
