Forced Suicide is a form of execution in which the victim is forced to take their own life, as such it can easily be classed as a torture and like many execution methods is considered immoral by those who oppose the taking of human life (even those who support the death penalty rarely promote torture, as it has a strong social stigma in the modern world despite being used prolifically throughout human history).

Probably the most famous example of forced suicide is the mass suicide of Jim Jones' People's Temple cult at Jonestown in Guyana on November 18, 1978. Another good example is Michelle Carter forcing her boyfriend Conrad Roy to commit suicide on July 14, 2014.
