The German Mafia or East German Mafia is a criminal organization, primarily consisting of East Germans. They often have close ties with other Eastern bloc mafias such as the Russian Mafia, Polish Mob, Czechoslovak Mafia, Hungarian Mafia, Romanian Mafia, Bulgarian Mafia, Yugoslav Mafia, and Albanian Mafia, as well as some Italian-American Mafia families. Crimes they commit include drug dealing, gun running, chop shopping, money laundering, contract killing, heists, and many others.
