Gordon Stewart Northcott (November 9, 1906 - October 2, 1930) was a Canadian-born American serial killer who was responsible for the Wineville Chicken Coop Murders, a series of abductions and murders of young boys that occurred in the city of Los Angeles and in Riverside County, California, between 1926 and 1928. Both he and his mother, Sarah Louise were the main perpetrators of the murders of three children, including Walter Collins, Jr., the son of Christine Collins. Northcott was found guilty of abduction, molestation, rape, and murder of the children and sentenced to death on February 13, 1929.
