Graham Young

Graham Frederick Young was a murderer who was obsessed with poison and used Thallium to poison his victims. When he was younger he did not have many friends but he did like to read and particularly enjoyed books about black magic,forensics and toxicology. After his teacher found poison bottles and books about poisons in his desk at school Young was sent to Broadmoor until 1971 where his nobsession with poison was supposedly cured. This was wrong as Young went to work in a factory where he made cups of tea laced with Thallium and went on to poison 70 more people and this earned his nickname as "The Teacup Poisoner". After this he was sent to Parkhurst where he died of a heart attack in 1990.

In the film The Young Poisoner's Handbook he serves as the main character and is played by Hugh O'Connor.
