Heinrich Himmler (1900-1945) was one of the most powerful men in Nazi party during it's rule of Germany - second only to Hitler in power Himmler was the overseer of the concentration camps, extermination camps and killing squads - he was a major force in what history has come to call the Holocaust (the mass murder of millions Jews as well as Roma, prisoners of war, Poles, communists, homosexuals, people with disabilities and other so-called "life unworthy for life").
Heinirch Himmler was captured by British forces shortly after Hitler's death and committed suicide by cynanide poisoning rather than face trial for his many crimes.
