Mature Human trafficking as it's name suggests is the trade of human beings most commonly for the purpose of sexual slavery, forced labor, prostitution (at times) or for the extraction of organs or tissues, including surrogacy and ovary removal. Trafficking is a lucrative industry, representing an estimated $32 billion per year in international trade, compared to the estimated annual $650 billion for all illegal international trade circa 2010. Human trafficking is thought to be one of the fastest-growing activities of trans-national criminal organizations. According to a report by the U.S. State Department, Belarus, Iran, Russia, and Turkmenistan remain among the worst countries when it comes to providing protection against human trafficking and forced labour. The cost of a human trafficking victim is around US$90 ( €81 or £72). Human trafficking is quite common in the world of organized crime, usually in the form of slavery. Slaves to an organized crime syndicate are often either captured members of a rival syndicate or an undercover FBI agents who were busted trying to infiltrate them. They can even an African American or Latino street gangster who was sold into slavery by a rival street gang. The criminal organization will also give the winning street gang money in exchange for the losing gangsters becoming slaves. Jobs of slaves to an organized crime syndicate include scrubbing floors of mansions and businesses, disposing of dead bodies, fetching food and beverages for syndicate members, and many others. Human trafficking is widely considered to be a crime against humanity.
