Ilse was a sadist. She was the wife of Karl-Otto Koch who was in charge of the concentration camp where she worked. Because of her wickedness, she came to be known as the Bitch of Buchenwald. She was sentenced to life imprisonment without showing any remorse and eventually hung herself.
