== Role in History == Insurrectionary Anarchism has appeared in various historical episodes. Some examples can be: * The French Revolution (1789). * The Luddite revolt (1811-12). * The popular insurrection of 1830 (27-28-29 July) against Charles X. * The insurrection French worker of 1848. * During the Italian Risorgimento. * (1900) Gaetano Bresci managed to kill King Umberto I, father of [[Victor Emmanuel III]]. * Bruno Filippi and his group carried out a series of attacks aimed at hitting the state and capital. * During the twenty years of Mussolini's dictatorship many anarchists theorized and practiced a violent insurrection against the "[[Benito Mussolini|Duce]]" and the Fascist State and against the Fascists in general.
