Jacob Hoggard

Jacob Hoggard is a Canadian musician and sex offender who was the lead singer of the band Hadley. He had appeared on Canadian Idol before forming his band. In 2005, he and his band members were subjects to a sexual assault case after a minor was found unconscious outside the venue they were playing in. Rohypnol was found in her blood. The band would prevent further discussion as they threatened lawsuits against any venue that brought it up. In July 2018, he was charged with 1 count of sexual interference and 2 counts of sexual assault causing bodily harm, involving a child under 16 and a woman. He was found guilty of sexual assault in 2022 for a 2016 encounter and was sentenced to 5 years in prison.
