== Trivia == * Huberty was 6'2. * The San Ysidro massacre was the deadliest mass shooting by a lone gunman in United States history at the time. * McDonald's temporarily suspended all television and radio advertisements in the days following the massacre. In an act of solidarity, arch-rival fast food chain Burger King also temporarily suspended all forms of advertising. * The 1988 film ''Bloody Wednesday'' is loosely inspired by the massacre. Directed by Mark Gilhuis, the film casts Raymond Elmendorf as the protagonist.
