| At 2:34 PM, Ramos entered into the Capital Gazette building with a Mossberg 500 shotgun and barricaded the rear entrance. | Ramos was officially charged in July 2018. He pleaded guilty but not criminally responsible due to insanity. However, he was deemed sane after an evaluation by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
