== History ==
Born Jennair Cox in 1970, Jennair first met Mark Gerardot back in 1986, when they worked at a Taco Bell together. They met again in 1990 and began a romantic relationship, leading to Mark and Jennair becoming husband and wife on October 23, 1993. However, their marriage began to take a toll due to financial problems and heated arguments, and at some point, Mark began having an affair with a married younger woman, Meredith Chapman, who worked with him at the University of Delaware.
