Mature Jennifer Staines is a British woman convicted of impersonating a man in order to sexually assault teenage girls. ==Biography== Staines set up a social media account in which she claimed to be a man named "Jason Spiller". She used this account to attract teenage girls, telling them she was "looking for love". The first girl she met this way was aged 13, with Staines wearing a cap every time they talked via webcam to conceal her gender. They eventually met in person and stayed together in Bristol for five days, with Staines unsuccessfully attempting to talk the victim into sex. Staines later stayed over at the victim's house a second time and they kissed. The victim was tricked into sending Staines naked and topless photos of herself before their relationship deteriorated due to Staines's controlling behaviour. Staines's second victim was aged 17 and engaged in a sexual relationship with Staines. During encounters Staines would refuse to take her clothes off, claiming that she had to wear a special vest due to stab wounds and it hurt to be touched. However, she would allow the victim to touch her crotch through her clothes, wearing socks down her pants to make it seem as though she had male genitalia. She would also have penetrative sex with the victim using a rubber dildo, wearing a condom in order to conceal that it was not a real penis. They had full penetrative sex 15 times, with the victim at one point consulting her doctor as she was worried she might be pregnant. At one point during the relationship the victim saw a picture of the real Staines and was told it was of Jason's brother. The third victim, also 17, was digitally penetrated by Staines on several occasions. She also had penetrative sex with Staines, once again with Staines using a condom to conceal that she was using a fake penis. However, the third victim's family became suspicious of "Jason" and believed that "he" was really a girl. The victim did not believe them, but they nonetheless contacted the police, who arrested Staines on suspicion of sexual assault. It was easily confirmed that she was in fact female, and further investigation uncovered that at least two other girls had been in a relationship with her "Jason Spiller" persona. The DNA of the second and third victims was found on a dildo in Staines's house, and naked photos of the first victim were found on her phone. Staines admitted six counts of sexual assault and two counts of possessing indecent images of a minor. She was jailed for three years and three months in December 2017. ==References== *Woman who posed as a man to have sex with teenage girls jailed, The Guardian *Jennifer Staines jailed after using fake penis to dupe teenage girls into sex, The Daily Express *Woman who posed as man jailed for sexual assaults, BBC News
