~ Jenny Cudd on her participation the U.S. Capitol riot |
Jenny Cudd is a Texas florist and mayoral candidate who participated in the 2021 United States Capitol storming.
Cudd ran against candidates Patrick Payton and Jerry Morales for mayor in 2019, sporting the slogan "Midland deserves better” in focus of trying to better growth issues in Midland.
On January 6, 2021, Cudd was one of many that participated in the U.S. Capitol riots in an attempt to cancel Joe Biden's election victory results and give Donald Trump four more years in office. She has pleaded guilty to entering and remaining in a restricted building, which nets her a maximum sentence of 1 year in prison and/or a $100,000 fine. Cudd showed no remorse for her actions, as she believed she was in the right in raiding the U.S. Capitol and stated that she would "do it again in a heartbeat."
