They have often worked closely with the American Mafia and sometimes even the Russian Mafia. Famous Israeli mobsters include Mickey Cohen, Bugsy Siegel, Meyer Lansky (of Ashkenazi bloodlines), and Frank Rosenthal (also of Ashkenazi bloodlines).
