'''John Evander Couey''' (September 19th, 1958 – September 30th, 2009) was an American criminal and convicted murderer and child rapist who kidnapped, raped, and murdered 9-year-old Jessica Lunsford in 2005. He was convicted and sentenced to death in 2007, but he died in September 2009 of anal cancer before the sentence could be carried out.
