'''John Wes Townley''' was an American professional racecar driver. He has competed in NASCAR's Xfinity and Truck series.

He has gone into infamy for domestically abusing his former wife Laura Bird, at one point throwing her and beating her down to the floor senselessly. He was sentenced 12 months probation for disorderly conduct. He has since separated from Laura Bird, filing for divorce in February 2021 and officially separating in September later that year.
