John Samir Zawahri (June 8, 1989 – June 7, 2013) is the man who carried out an arson and a subsequent spree shooting in Santa Monica, CA in June of 2013. He killed five people, injured 2 and was later shot by officers in the library. Authorities discovered 1,800 rounds on his body in addition to multiple weapons.
