Joseph Christopher was a serial killer who was responsible for a series of murders in the early 1980s. It is speculated that he killed at least twelve males, both young and old.
Christopher always had a passion for shooting outdoors, and had a deep interest in guns. He also was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia. He became known as the .22 Caliber Killer during a murder spree on September 22, 1980, where he killed four black males in the span of 36 hours. He was particularly interested in hunting down men of black race, being a white supremacist.
He was later arrested and imprisoned for life. He eventually died in prison on March 1, 1993.
